This flexible, internationally recognised qualification will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed as an accounting technician. It is a practical qualification that will improve your career prospects in finance and accounting.
AAT (SA) offers a practical qualification targeted at all staff levels, from admin to professional accounting positions. The focus of the AAT Certificate and FET Advanced Certificate is to address business needs in terms of basic finance and bookkeeping.
The aim is to provide learners with basic finance and accounting skills in order to enhance entrepreneurship through SMME’s and to assist municipalities with operation clean audit.
Take note that these qualifications do not form part of the CUT’s programme qualification mix (PQM) as they are offered as a third stream income project. As such some bursary and loan schemes may not be available for these qualifications.
The AAT (SA) qualification offers the following three certificate levels.

SAQA CREDITS: 120
